About
The author of this site is a 33-year-old sex-positive peer educator. She started having sex when she was a teen, and believes it’s important to talk frankly about what sex is and when and how to start having it. And also about when to do it again–just because you’ve done it once or done it with a certain person is of course no reason to feel like you have to do it again, with them, or with anyone else.
All sex should be consensual. That means you want to do it, and your partner does too. How do you know if it’s consensual? You have to talk about it (eek!). Go ahead. It really won’t hurt to talk.
You also have to know what it is you’re deciding to do; how it could impact you if it goes wrong, or even if it goes right. You can’t know everything before you start, but you can know a lot. Talking can help with that too. So talk hard!
